Fire Dance Circumstance

Blow out all fuses
fusion will explain to all silented ears
souls will understand
hearts will hear

the Devil may laugh
but his humor is damned as none
and God told me
to tell you that;
laughs best he who laughs last.

Fire cannot be caught
will not be refused

so we with our narrow tools
do the best to fool ourselves with 'how to use'
and 'what to do';

thinking leads far up the hill
and great minds may conquer
but hope will be on what we climb
when wind of change blows great minds aside.

I wash my fear away
by the dirt on my hands;
they've been further than onto the land
where I now stand:

I will cry tears of sorrow, tears of joy
I will break and fall apart

and ravished shadows in the gutter will find
my pieces a part in their puzzle,
use what is left
to do right,
perhaps even sell my day
to get through their night.

I will be glad
I shall not doubt
and never will we loose in a game
where fair play demands
sanity to fright.

Fantasies may never be fulfilled
and dreams may remain in our minds,
but no matter how much of evil that shatters our good;
it will be for the better

as reality is never what will come
but what is
right here

outside of time
inside of you
inside of me.
