Social plasticity seems to be a way of life for some.. no wonder I prefer kids and animals for company!

Liar Liar!

How can you smile and lie with such ease?
Comfortable with your own deception
So much it's distorted my perception
Of the fibre of you, is nothing true?
In thine own fabrications you believe

Spiteful words designed to maim and hurt
Throwing knives at backs with verve
One day you'll get what you deserve
Lies boomerang, you'll feel the pang
As you dig your morals from the dirt

So you know my ex-wife, then?

Seriously, this is terrific. It always amazes me how some folks can spin the thickest bullshit and assume that nobody around them has a sense of smell.

Very cool piece.

A suprising anger in this poem! I can really relate to that inablilty to let it go when people lie to your face.
