Over seas and sleeping skies
You travel through the seas of my mindAnd I am captivated by your blinding light
not any words you said tonight
could make me love you less or be impolite.
The harsh cuts with your love's knife
the drops of blood on the window pane
a part of the painting belonging to a painter insane
killing time;denying life.
You make the impossible things possible
and I am a little girl with a lack of joy
and smiles sing no songs, and my love is not in words
it is heartfelt, it is vain, lost in the turmoil.
I make a deep trip through darkness to come to light
and find the sweet touching sunlight
as the surface of the sea jumps up to welcome me
you are a drop on my hair; you are a star on the sky.
Jump again in my mind and make me smile
Many times I have wondered why you came upon me in this life
maybe some other day, maybe for a second's time
I am forgiven; I am reversing my curse;I can travel high.
