Romance.
RomanceI am addicted to the essence of romance
That all pervasive quasi entity
Intoxicating in her casual glance
As her embrace once more envelopes me
She comes to me on wings silent in flight
No feathered flutter ever do I hear
As she steals my heart like ethereal thief in night
Her silence deafening as she draws near
Erotic contours now assail my mind
I see her laying in wanton repose
My cautious sentry to her presence blind
As from her eyes fulfilments promise flows
Once more into her labyrinth I now fall
As thought processes she would overwhelm
No existence known to man I can recall
Surpasses time in her exalted realm.
