I am salvation

Born into a world of doubt
my mission seemed so clear.
I will rob you from you questions
shallowness and fear.

You may point your finger at me
strike me full of hate.
I shall only guide you forward
to the pearly gate.

Even though I'm full of suffer
you'll see my smiling face.
Though you always cut me open
I'll give my warm embrace.

I may appear as weird or hateful
when my intentions are so pure.
You claim I am a disastrous virus
but the truth is, I am the cure.

Excellent the way you have used imagery to convey the message, truly a fine example of "show" don't "tell". Whether one believes in Christianity and Yashua our Saviour (or not), this is put together very well and has a good flow.
