Thank you Incubus, Jack Johnson and Oasis

A kiss to send us off

The clouds become electric
A shock of lightning later
I feel it in the hollows
A kiss to send us off
A kiss to death the numb

I believe in
The better-to-be-togetherness of a chick flick
I believe in
The random scroll of a traceable treasure

I just want you to miss me
For that one little time
The day I don't msg back
The morning you miss your ride
Remember
The ad about sailboats
The faded ink spot on your shirt
The window seat
The nirvana patch

The truth is neither of us can see
We're scarred
The truth is neither of us want to see
The other for who she is
The other from what she stole

Electric clouds
Invisible suns
And all I ask is a kiss to send us off
Into the sunset less sky.
