Lest my feathers shed

Elliptical wishes
condensed ultimately
pious prayers
rained ceaselessly
as water spash
on timeless rock

concur i do
but you know
drops at the edge
glide and slide
with each step
we age

fairy wind
from the pacific
breezing
through my heart
lifting
off my core
far far above
Kilimanjaro*

once twice
i looked into your eyes
pulled you out
un rescued
recoiled
deep inner feeling
fragmented
by experience past

Thrice not once
recognition dawned
real is it?

Grand father said:
'every man in love is a poet'
ink my paper
either 'am poet or in love

If you, you ask
'am white with despair
'am green with hope
'am red with anguish
'am blue with desire

I in the moon
you in the sun
two celestial gulf
one spiritual bridge
erased pictures
always leaves a mark

Joy on the web
like agony on spiders' web
reliance on fate
renunciation of volition...

*Kilimanjaro is said to be the highest mountain in Africa

I like your writing very much. I like its style of precision, yet evokes such powerful visions and emotional response. I am a fan of poetry of brevity, where few words are used to convey much meaning on several levels.....especially metaphorical expression
