Ten thousand raindrops
Ten thousand peoplewalking past you
with the same idle look in their eyes
with a suffocating pain in disguise
ten thousand little stories
buried below a grey town's dreams
covered by smoke and caressed by rain
ten thousand feelings
on the car, on the bus, on the train
behind flowers, behind walls, resting on the terrain
trying to find a new home to reside
along with this forgotten glimmer of happiness
that once flowered like a new born joy
ten thousand worlds
convinced that they are bound to kill and destroy
their innocence like steel tears hit the ground
rewrite the saddest story
behind the curtains of a paralyzed town.
