A Bike Ride

I wend my verdant way
where dust eddies sift
and settle in the trees

and wade through falls of sunlight-
careful to get completely soaked.

Wending through dust and wading through falls of sunlight: great sounds, great imagery! At first reading, I was puzzled by how "wading" might be part of a bike ride; then I hit on a very satisfying interpretation indeed.

I would definitely have liked to have been there with you guys... Next time, I'll go on the beautiful afternoon bike ride, and you can take your turn at whatever the hell I was doing today... getting blinded on stage and such... :D sound like a plan? Nice poem.

I really like your word choice (diction)
It creates a really wispy tone
but here ends my Higgins analysis

I like the image
