Stardust Memoirs
Walkin' down the road with my hands in my pocket and mind u'neathThe winds blew thoughts of past both good and bad
Stones turned into words and some thoughts..well they just got old for which I'm glad
Music played tuneless songs which echo in my mind b'neath
Stardust Memoirs... well... they are just here to stay, ain't they?
Strangers and friends at such times feel alike
Into the door of bluffs and laughs outside seems so divine
These lines may feel like puzzles but they're truly are so unlike
Diamonds and fabrics don't mean a thing for they lack the moonshine
Stardust Memoirs... well... they are just here to stay, ain't they?
Openin' eyes and staring at the sun the day begins anew
Throwing my thoughts out the window I pack my suitcase full
I hear the knocks on my door and I realize there's no time for blue
Life's flirting always with troubles but remem'r they are glasful
Stardust Memoirs... well... they are just here to stay, ain't they?
