seek and ye shall find

Perfect Quest?

To sleep the sleep
of the innocent
to rest
without a care,
To dream only dreams
of love and peace
with nothing remotely
to fear

To wake
refreshed
to a new born day
with hopes
and dreams to chase,
unbound by fear
of failure
or giants one might face

To take on
every challenge,
enthused with confidence
and a determination
fearless of consequence

To be enfused with energy
like a colt
set free of the womb,
and never think
of anything,
remotely tied
to the tomb

To laugh or cry
with shameless zeal
each day unrestrained
out loud,
To declair our God is real
and of our nation and name
be proud

This would be
the perfect freedom.
Is it unknowable
to the soul?
And would not the quest
of such
make a being
whole?
