Overheard a conversation
and thought of this
~L.~
Rebreaking the seal of clotting blood
with your constant back knifing,
too many chances of friendship given
because I can't stand silent fighting.
A friend in the flesh, to the face
but you don't how to really be,
unbitching, unselfish, a true friend in other words
and keeping the peace is wearing down me.
Yet so kind you can be at times
when we are doing things WITH you,
but when we do things that make you bored
you make us feel guilty for what we do.
