Afternote
Oh by the way
I think I forgot to tell you
When you stood in the doorway
Still half asleep,
But with arms outstretched
Your smile so warm
I felt as if I'd melt right there...
And did I tell you,
When you kissed my neck
Your scent rushed through me
Like pure adrenaline
I sighed because I couldn't speak
For a moment I was sure
My chest skipped a beat or two...
And did I say,
When you lay beside me
Nightstand light upon your face
I want to freeze in time
Every second, every single touch
I didn't say at the time,
But then, we never have to...
