Liar Liar
A lie is like a bandaid
It protects a tender spot
Fashioned so it doesn't show
But beneath it causes rot
A lie is like a shovel
It burrows like a mole

So you dig a deeper hole
A lie is like a cancer
It eats from the inside
Right from youth we learn the truth
From yourself you cannot hide
A lie is like a dagger
That cuts into your heart
Faith is frayed when one's betrayed
And that's the hardest part...
