If...
If the songs you sing are not heartfeltyou are doomed to fall behind.
If you reject all the sweet viridescent colors of nature
you are damned to lose your mind.
If all the poetry you write is pretentious
you will have a temporary adoration.
If you insult those eloquent writers
you will be a victim of isolation.
If you tear the pages of golden books
just for the sake of feeling better
It will be long until you feel off the hook
by your guilt and your vanity feathers.
