A dream I had!

Minds Eye

Beneath the branches hand on bark
Mysterious sphere roles from the dark
Poised before the duel I stare
Wondering how, why, from where

Likened mind we move as one,
About the tree it comes I run
I try to hide it knows my plight
Heart a beating drum of fright

Suddenly sphere morphs to flail
Blackened barb my flesh impale
Terra firma my frame doth call
Conscience waning as I fall

Earthly home in minds eye seen
From the moon with silver sheen
Turning, burning, brightly red
Back again within my head

Elements from corners four
Earth, air, fire and water roar
From subconscious state I stir
Pondering the message blur

Warning, omen, future score
Mind is blank I know no more
Search the sky look for the sign
Twenty dozen forewarn the time
