Oh, please do... it will be fun!

Come, Dance with Me

Come dance with me,
I'll show you how...
Just take my hand
and then you bow...

Do kiss my cheek...
a smile so sly
and do the steps
to make me sigh.

We shall not dance
so very long
for it is late...
I'll sing love's song.

A fine romantical piece of verse here, with very short lines (not always so easy to bring off) Just an excellent write and I loved it!

Dancing is fun and I loved the way this little poem danced along, the bow in first verse, reminded me of dancing at Court of yester year. So gentile and romantic.

Smiling at you

A dancer till the end of her pain
