SPRING.
The world awakes the sring is hereSnowdrops through the earth appear
White petals sprinkled, on churchyard floor
Yellow jasmin round the door
Blackbirds, sparrows, finches,wrens
Cock birds chasing little hens
Rushes growing by the river
The sun now warms the winter shiver
Shades of green are everywhere
Grasses grow like maidenhair
Yellow daffs and tulips red
Blue Iris through the parks are spread
Wrap up warm and take a walk
On the hill thats made of chalk
Hurry home here comes a shower
We'll watch t.v. now for an hour
Rain has gone lets cut the grass
Tidy up cause winters past.
