This is a poet for a broken heart

Over time

Overtime, I figure my wounds will heal and the emptiness might fade away, Overtime, I will get used to you not being there each and everyday. Overtime, I will understand the rules you placed before me while you were here. Overtime, I figure I will be able to replace my tears. Overtime, you will watch over me and make sure I do everything I'm supposed to do. Overtime, I don't think I would ever be able to stop loving you as I do. Overtime, I will sit back and wonder why you left me alone. But overtime I will remember that GOD had to call you home. He wanted you to stop hurting and I will soon eventuly accept that fact. But I don't think that overtime; I will ever stop wanting you back. I'm glad I got to experience the wonderful father you were and also my mother... I love you and also her. I miss you both and the memories we sharded are forever mine. I will not forget those, not ever. Overtime.
