Emily's Poem
Your smile is sweet, gentle, and genuine,I wish I could freeze it there
Your implicit trust and unharmed faith
I wish I could make it stay
Your eyes are not jaded, not cynical in any way
I wish I could keep them like that
Your utter happiness at being free
I want it to stay the same
Your Naïve, childlike quality
Set me free from this prison
But how long before you become
Just another one of us?
