The quote that is the 4th stanza came from my friend who, upon reading one of my poems, replied with that short poem. The last stanza is my reply to his comment.
I loved how it sounded, and added it into my new poem. Hope u enjoy!
The first stanza
avec tes yeux
tellement profond
une personne peut se perdre dans les.|
When only enticing words
pour out of your mouth,
I melt as quickly
as my heart did
when it first saw you.
This was your plan all along...
and now that you've won me,
and torn my heart in two
you lean in for the kill...
"I will be there,
pretending.
I'll make you think
I care.
Until the time
is right.
To rip from you,
all your friends.
And eventually,
leave you.
All alone."
Which will just be a repeat
of all the pain you've caused me.
Nothing different;
you carry me around in a circle.
You bewitch me with your words
and seduce me with your kindness....
can it possibly get worse?
I think it can...
