haiku verses reflecting poetry

Reflections of Starlight

take a moment now

and inspect your reflections

in the galaxy

like stars in the night

our lights shine both bright and dim

illumination

whoever follows

reflections in the shadows

will soon become lost

take care of your light

so others will not falter

burn bright in your ways

all of heaven sees

how we shine in the black sky

remember the sun

watch how it reflects

even in the darkest night

on the moon's image

see the importance

of being the star you are

uniquely brilliant

Very beautiful!
When you discover
the light within yourself
You will be a flame of love
where other people can light their candles
and the world will become a brighter place

I missed this in all the commotion - poetbay's and mine - but glad to find it now, quite accidentally I might add, while scanning through the re-available read texts feature. Thanks Kathy, these haiku verses are wonderful.

The brilliance of these words
reflect the brilliance of the Heavens
and the brilliance of the writer and
the brilliance of the talent
that captures the brilliance
of the workings of the creative
mind, which itself is created by
the brilliant Creator so brilliantly
displayed here in this brilliant
piece of truth and wisdom.

I hate to say this but my suspicians are confirmed. This site still isn't working properly. The links don't work on the calendar, or for searches and now I found out that it will not save the bookmarks I want to save. I hate to complain, but it seems like they should have all these bugs fixed by now. I am going to copy your poem and save it as unpublished work on my page for now. Anyone else having these glitches still?

Powerful words! Definately going to be bookmarked. I love the way you infused the haiku concept in each stanza. The message is awesome, especially in the last two stanzas. This is just super fine work, Kathy. Thank you for writing and sharing. love ya
