just having some fun with words

Abecedarian Alliteration: A-Z

*

Acid accrued,

belching buttery bewilderment.

Chiding cyanide cynics

dashed Deadwood disguises,

eating every easy entry's ego.

Forbidden fool's folly,

 gutted guile's guilty gall.

Heaven's Hell holds hungry hostages

insulated in idealism's iconic idols.

Jaunticed journey jilted jinxed jealousy.

Kyrie kisses karma's kin,

letting love's lament linger,

momentarily mixing mirage's miracle,

never needing nothing not naturally nourishing.

Obsessions osscillate our oasis of omission.

Pretend parodic palaces perish peacefully,

Quietly quilting queenly quizzical quagmires.

 Rogue ragamuffins race radical,

slivering secret's seasoned soft silence.

Tumblebugs tidy the terror's turd

under usurious Utopia.

Vacuous vagabond's vanity

withers with whimsey's wanton wile.

Xeric xeno xebecs

yoke yesteryear's yellowing yachts,

zealously zig-zagging Zion's Zodiac Zoo.

***

xeric-adjective of, pertaining to, or adapted to a dry environment

       xeno-Origin:
comb. form of Gk xénos stranger, guest (n.); alien, foreign, strange (adj.)

xebec--noun a small, three-masted vessel of the Mediterranean, formerly much used by corsairs, now employed to some extent in commerce.

Wow! Let's try singing this one!
:-) Spike Milligan, a british comic / writer / actor mad a one hour recording of nonsensical words only because he liked the sounds of them. It was impossible to listen to without laughing or the very least smiling.
I enjoyed this Melanie.
Thanks, Nick
