Something someone said stuck
in my head and I ran with it.
~L.~
You've opened the door to insanity
and only madness can save you now,
held tight in your chains of profanity
clinging to the will to escape somehow....
The bowels of Hell are opening up
no mercy in the flames of black tinged red,
from the Devil's cup you choose to sup
you pointedly didn't listen to wisdom said....
So stubborn in your pride
seeing logic in illogical reason,
refusing to leave this off-the-tracks ride
to your friends ignorance is paramount to treason....
but a white-tinged Raven is up-lifting you
carrying you away in sheathed clawed feet,
pooling in flaming circles falling tears of blue
dripping off soles blackened by Hell's heat.
