Shape poem... with a stretch of the imagination...
In the shadows
A puddle of water
The shape of a cloud
I can make out a form
An active imagination
Or a trick of the light
But still, there you are
An image of you burned
Into my mind, my thoughts
Now every face I see
Has your familiar smile
And I know somehow
You watch over me
And your silhouette
Reminds me
I'm not alone.

Silhouette
In the shadows
A puddle of water
The shape of a cloud
I can make out a form
An active imagination
Or a trick of the light
But still, there you are
An image of you burned
Into my mind, my thoughts
Now every face I see

And your silhouette
Reminds me
