There cannot be something which cannot be

"There's no such thing as a no such thing!"
Said a toucan bird with marshmallow wings.
"I second that!"
Yelled a rainbow cat-
While stroking a human on his fat-cat-lap.
"Like an honest politician,
Or a welcoming mortician,
There's no such thing as a no such thing!"

"There cannot be something that cannot be!"
Said a blue-hued bullfrog nestled in a tree
"I've searched down and up, yet still haven't seen
Any stain of the name "impossibility"

"Now I've asked the wind, and she told me-
That when Adam and Eve grabbed fruit from the tree
They (accidentally)
Swallowed the pit of creativity-
Which God would've given them quite willingly
If they had asked,
And not heeded the words
Of the asp.

So now we use our imaginations-
For nuclear arms and mass corporations.
That harvest dreams for devastation,
And while prophets pray for revelation,
-4.25$ at a local gas station.....
And that's proof enough for me,
There cannot be something-
Which cannot be.

Rob Graber
Says person A: "But it makes no sense!"
Says person B: "Maybe that's the sense it makes."

This entertaining, edgy, mindbending poem reminded me of these lines I just heard in the classic oater, "Tell Them Willie Boy is Here."
