...For once, no comment :)
In the daylight
The sun shines on the garden
The day starts
The plants stir.
It is Spring.
The flowers are rejuvinated
Most of them bloom
lapping at the sunlight
Yet there are those
who have withered
or have given up, dead
or those who remain closed
Summer comes along.
The sun's power
becomes far more evident
Leaves and petals begin to dry
They make up for it
In the moonlight,
storing all that is possible
to make it through the day
Autumn follows.
dead, curling leaves
tumble about in the
warm, soft breeze
Pretty much everything,
the whole garden receeds
Every plant, flower and tree
Getting ready for the worst
Winter finally arrives.
From a warm breeze
to cold, biting gusts
The aim now is to survive
Yet amongst the snow blanket,
Hidden as it blooms
The white lotus opens it's petals
While the rest cower under the snow
Yet as soon as the snow
melts and begins to clear
the white petals receed once more,
laying down, beneath the rest
And life returns to normal
Plants and Flowers coming to life
yet, ignorant that there was one
that prospered, where they could not.
