night
i awokeheart racing
and reached
for you
the empty pillow
filled my hand
so long
since the nights
we've shared
a bed
but my arms
remember yours
when things were
just
so
good
our together
precious
our apart
longing
another golden sunset
yawns
another day
you breathed there
not here
one morning
early and blue
my hand
will reach
and find you
next to me
sleeping
until then
i lay to one side
of the bed
keeping your side
open
