Certain

The sun comes up each morning,
On that you can depend.
The government will tax you,
That will never end.
The tide rolls in, the tide rolls out
A pattern ever true.
None of these things are as certain
As my love for you.

The four seasons flow in order
Each and every year.
When a baby's hungry
Be sure he'll shed a tear.
Grass is green, dirt is brown
And the sky is blue.
None of these things are as certain
As my love for you.

Some things in life are certain.
Some things never change.
There are things in this world that man
Just can't rearrange.
All I know is you've touched my heart.
There is nothing I won't do.
There is not a thing more certain
Than my love for you.
