Sunday

Sunday morning, I wipe the sleep out of my eyes.
I reach out to touch you and you're gone.
It took a moment, then I realized.
Last night was just a dream, I'm alone.

Girl, I really miss you.
I really want to kiss you.
I need to hold in my arms so tight.
Girl, I really miss you.
You know I want to kiss you.
I wish we were together, tonight.

Lazy Sunday, I'm running errands around town.
Playing taxidad, there is no doubt.
I think of you and my frown turns upside down.
I smile because you've turned me inside out.

Girl, I really miss you.
I really want to kiss you.
I need to hold in my arms so tight.
Girl, I really miss you.
You know I want to kiss you.
I wish we were together, tonight.

Sunday evening, the sun drops from the sky.
I wish we were together holding hands.
The weekend's over, a tear forms in my eye.
Some day soon we need to make future plans.

Girl, I really miss you.
I really want to kiss you.
I need to hold in my arms so tight.
Girl, I really miss you.
You know I want to kiss you.
I wish we were together, tonight.
