Before it's Too Late
Of sombre mind today
Another friend passed away
So before I missed her
I called my sister
To see if she was okay
Death is all around me
In my life, and on the news
So I thought why wait
'Till it's too late
To give people your views
We are not here forever
It seems wasteful to wait
To tell someone you love them
Or hold something above them
That fills your heart with hate
So I make myself a promise
To love now while I still can
So I won't wish as I cry
I could have said goodbye
And accept the mortal I am.
