my friends childhood experience

J's pain..

The playground has tears
on the swings,
Someone has clipped
an angels wings.
Joy fades with the morning
sun
pain chases her soul
that cannot run..
Memories of her childhood,
pierce through her heart,
someone shattered it apart...
Her future robbed of what it
could've been
her trust never born, for all men,
He damned her soul, like a theif in the night,
Her valleys were darkened without any light.
The years have been scarred as she grows older,
In her dreams she hears the things he told her,
This vile monster took the rainbow away,
and chased the laughter yesterday.
The healing is a journey she has yet to
get started,
She is an adult but within a child broken
hearted...

Love, Donna
