La Résistance

Wearing our weirdness like a crown
While all around us crumbles down
The heavy boots are marching again
And capitalism claims to be our friend

I hope we can still stand brave and steady
When more than before we need guns at the ready
But our weapons are words and open hearts
Remember that when the fighting starts.

It is a good piece. I don't find myself agreeing with the pacifist view you display here, but good poetry is good poetry nevertheless.
And yours is.

Not sure I'm in agreement with its politics, Princess, but the poem does have charm.
