Recycled Air
Standing on the edge of a new understandingWith new eyes
The same as the ones before
But with less complications
The unnecessary strings were cut
To reveal the remaining bonds
And the air settled better here
Among the changed
It is human nature to try and fail in patterns
All more basic than admitted
Those years on tense grounds
Behind us, almost forgotten
Its these bonds now
Loosely tangled and all embraced
Their if freedom
In the common space we share
And beauty in recycled air
