What if...?

What if everyone was a Christian, would the world
be fine then?

And what if everyone was a Muslim, how about that?

Would it be okay if we all thought the same way?

What if the men woke in the morning, ate their scraps,
grabbed their sticks, and went out to find those things
that kept their group alive, would it be easier to survive?

And if it wasn't like that, but instead like this: we wake,
we eat, we tell stories, we light fires, we write emails,
we eat again, we put the children to bed with stories,
we tell some more, and then we find our way to sleep
again? What about then?

What if everyone was the same, would it be boring?
And what if everyone was boring, would it all be the
same? If we were all the same, boring or not boring,
would we stop wanting what others have because we
had what they have anyway?

Would we then stop killing and mutilating that which
threatens us because we do not understand it?

Would desire discontinue because we would all be
the same.

What if everyone was a Christian, would the world
be fine then?

And what if everyone was a Muslim, how about that?

What if everyone was a human being?

Thear was a time in Granada , now Spain. When the Mores as they were termed. When Moslems Jews , thinkers . Sat side by side , debating , the Mores had liburs , so many book's. Debaited , expandid human knmowige and understanding. Then queen Iasabela with her husband king carlos ( not sure of his name). '' Liberated '' Granarder. Much blood flowed. That led to the crosaides. Till what we are all experansing now. The king and quees moteervashan , well greed and profit. As you see , Eli , I like your poem , got me to thinking. History the presant and the futcher. All have thire conexshans in the past , we suffer now.
