In the memory of my great grandma

Nana

When I was born on that Wednesday morning,
just as the day was dawning.
You smiled at me,
and said that she,
was the cutest thing you ever did see.
Now, you are gone,
my love is so strong.
I never thought you would go
and leave us here so cold.
I know you were old,
You didn't suffer for long,
My dad and gran where there all along.
My love for you will never die,
even though I will cry.
