Imagine

so humans are inherently evil
they always will be
it's a fact one has to accept
but you know
life was more fun
in the denial
and who really knows anyway
where the human race is headed

it's kind of ironic
that it is the righteous
who are often readily eager
to remind us of the stains
like a fear of the fear
like a strange type of war
where the "good" throw scorn at the "bad"
perhaps there's no irony after all

"you may say I'm a dreamer
but I'm not the only one"

Eli, however we are, or may be, I pray there is more love so we care for one another and, if possible, get involved in others' lives, with faith. Thought-provoking and inviting.

Eli, So true, the righteous go on in their vain...
And care very little for the 'other'...
Good take on John Lenon's 'imagine'...
