What I'm Trying Not To Think About

is how little they wanted on that application.
sure, I did most of those 'extra activities' for fun,
but still

the only reason they want me is because I happen to
be good at geometry, reading, and recognizing
grammar mistakes
all on one stupid test.

sure, its a good school.
i'll get 'a good education'and 'succeed in life'
but still

why don't they care about the hours I spent reahearsing
singing
writing
volunteering
expressing myself?

sure, I want to go.
I like it there, and I know I'll learn a lot
but still

I want them to like me for what I do with myself
not just what I should be capable of.
