Night
It takes me in its graspand keeps me from the world
as my eyes consult the moon
the paws do met the earth
the warmth within expels from me
the coolness left right there
the heart when it starts to change
to the beast that hides within.
I wonder throughout the white
and come out in the black
whispers of wisp,
dance in the breeze
teasing me as I crouch
I toss my will into the sky
and howl at the moonlight.
These changes most certainly happen
unless it's in my head
allot goes on when the dusk rolls in
which scares me half to death.
the night is deadly I had had to learn
to hide my real self.
