The Weight
Sometimes I wishI could put all the weight
That I have on my shoulders
Onto yours
And watch you sink
Lower and lower to the ground,
As the weight builds and builds
Until the point where
You don’t think you can stand any longer
But you keep walking anyways.
I’d like to see you try
And smile.
The way I try,
But fail.
