lost in the dark
What do I look like in her eyes..The pain of her absence her lost replies
Could shift her mindset, alter ties
Hearing her replies in gentle sighs
A soul so weak withers and dies
The body abandonned left to flies
The soul escapes and high it flies
Free to get lost in those eyes
Again
Am I too amateur for her taste
Where have I failed what do I face
I pray all of this fear goes to waste
In all she has said linked to our case
Where can I change what have I missed
I crave her touch, yearn for her kiss
To taste that feeling, capture that bliss
I stare at the stars,
See your smiling face...
And I miss you, everything is gone.
Nothing lasts...
Where are you.. ... I..am here..
What do I do...
Where do I go?
Show me the river.
Where does it flow?
I'll follow you, without doubt, without fear.
TAKE MY HAND, I'LL KEEP YOU NEAR.
It's so dark and cold.
BUT YOU'RE SO YOUNG AND BOLD...
I'm really not you know, it's because you're here that I'm so.
BUT I'M SIMPLY A VOICE, A WHISPER, A CANDLE.
One that keeps me bright, keeps me brave, and hopeful.
... I AM NOTHING...
