When in darkness

When in darkness, take a moment, and look up
there might be a hole in the clouds, perhaps ragged, but
showing stars, gleaming like a thousand diamonds
evershining in a perfect sky, there, beyond

You might remember a few things
then, in the night, like
the treasures of your heart
