Love's fall
the sun rises or it sets
there is no in-between
no resting of the tire-less wind
nothing
except the motion
tumbling me in and out
toward and away
from
the heart scrambling sensation
of love
don't pity, don't rejoice
for neither the kiss nor the pain
that encompasses this love's free ride
propels me to
the centre
this love is different
it's not that of a child
although a child
is what it makes you
as you try to understand
all the notions that are conjured
some say that love is easy
yet I'll wonder if they've loved
because love doesn't fall into your lap
it makes you fall...
and if you rise
then
you have loved
or never loved at all
