Moonshine Admiration

The breeze against her face calmed her, it always did. Especially when she came to this spot. As she sat cross legged, the city under her. Once in a while, when she needed some alone time, she would retreat to this spot, a ledge on one of the skyscrapers.

The situation was not improving much, space was limited more than ever, they might have to cram more than two into each room from now on, either that or cease rescues for the time being.

She heard her before she left, let alone when she arrived. Apart from that, the soft red glow on the floor was a dead give away.

"Seems you are spending more time in your rabbit hole", an approaching voice said as someone sat down beside her.

Luna smiled as her two year senior second in command patted her on the back lightly,"You know an hour is not over yet?" She asked jokingly, relaxing her posture.

Lilly punched Luna's shoulder playfully,"Thought you'd appreciate the company, two freaks are always worse than one, what do you think?"

Luna frowned at this comment, returning to a thoughtful state once more,"Come to think of it, yes they are. We'll have to cease rescue operations effective immediately."

Lilly raised an eyebrow,"And yet we went in for the last one, even though it was far more risky than the rest. I wonder whats so important about that boy that got you to make such an illogical decision?", even though Lilly was curious about it, she said it playfully at the same time, aware of the age difference between her and her superior.

Luna frowned even more in thought,"I'm not sure, but let us not fret over it here. I'm hungry." Lilly chuckled as her skin began to glow a soft red. The glow spread to Luna, until within a minute, they had both disappeared.
