Shaking With Misery
So when you are
Down and out,
Hopeless,
Helpless,
Shaking
With misery,
Read this,
From me,
Your very own
Jekyll and Hyde,
Beauty and the Beast,
Kermit and Miss Piggy.
Remember,
Your son
Was born
The day
Mum died.
Her spirit
Within him,
He danced
Into life.
Remember,
Your friends
Love you more
Than you believe.
Remember,
Your man
Is devoted,
But you still
Doubt.
Remember,
Believe in your
Friends.
The best of the best.
The kindest,
Cleverest,
Most generous of spirits,
Noble friends and lovers all.
So when you are
Down and out,
Hopeless,
Hapless,
Shaking
With misery,
Read this,
From me.
Your alter-ego.
