We often are haunted by our past, and nostalgia, regrets and remorse it brings; Often we keep dreaming of our future, building castles in the air, or fret about what it might bring; We forget and lose the all important 'now'...

Yesterday Today and Tomorrow

What is 'now' will be 'yesterday' tomorrow!
What was yesterday, was 'now' once;
What is 'future' today,
Will become 'today' tomorrow,
And 'yesterday', by the day-after-tomorrow;

Time never stops and it will go on & on...

But, what we have to realize is this:
Our 'today' is decisive,
What is important
Is our 'now'!
What ever we do now,
Is because of yesterday,
What ever we do now, will decide
Our tomorrow- today!

So, live this 'today' fully
Responsibly,
Enjoyably,
Constructively,
Creatively,
Positively...
For, tomorrow is another day...

At least, that is what I think,
That is what I try to do...

I hope,
I HAVE MADE SOME SENSE?
I HOPE IT IS NOT NONSENSE?*

*You can call this a squeal to my previous poem" Life is a Precious Gift", or just take it as it is...

**Hey guys just came across this quote from Swami Vivekananda, the great Sage from Kanyakumari, the southern most tip of India:
"If what we are now has been the result of our own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever we wish to be in future can be produced by our present actions; so we have to know how to act."

Zoya,doctor for love heart! Live live everyday all your lifeand you have nothing to do with tense and get tense!All your 'doing'of this live will be carried forward to you in the next life! Enjoy every minute in the right direction and no more you need worry! Karma yoga in Bhagavatgeeta tells that you do your duty without any ecpectation! That is called 'nishkama karma'! Dear doctor, often you appear as a philosopher! You are friend, guide and philosopher to me. You are wonderful dear Zoyz!((((((hugs and kisses))))))shankar

One of immemorial questions about time...

Seems, Einstein was considered, that yesterday, today and tomorrow are existing during the same moment. So, who knows?

Zoya. A deep poem. With alot of meaning in it. Hard to get at the first read. I have read it 3 times now. And for everytime I read it, something becomes more logic in my life. Thank you Zoya:)

Oh this reminds me of something i once heard - talking about the importance of living "today"...
Life can be compared to a train journey. Of course you can spend the time of your journey going restlessly back and forth through the carriages, but this does not affect the train's direction nor its speed. So why don't you sit quietly at your place, enjoying the view and maybe sharing food and thoughts with those sitting around you?...
