That night, a clear e-flat sent its welcome syllable to my emotional wellbeing.

Arpeggiated

Perhaps my life
Will perpetually be a c-sharp-diminished-seven chord
Arpeggiated slowly and contemplatively
Over a luscious background of ferns and birds and clear bells
And soft rain
And lovers kissing softly through the pain
But yet
Nevertheless
c-sharp-diminshed-seven
and perhaps with fate's fat fingers
add-flat-9.

First of all, I LOVE the description box. Also, this poem is so AWESOME. It really gets a point across without coming right out and saying it. It is really sweet and beautiful and sentimental. I really like it. Perhaps I will start writing again... Hope you are enjoying Senior Year. I know you will do well.

A diminished seventh chord insinuates....is ominous by nature,
as if lovers are married...but not to each other ;-) Best beware if followed by a C diminished ;-)

To be honest I am not musically enough inclined to fully understand the inference of the musical notation but I still enjoyed the read. :-)

Baskenmütze
woah.
I just fell in love with this poem.
particularly the last line.
it's like an edgy jazz piece
that takes in for a while
and then throws you
and stops
I think I'm gonna print it off and stick it on my desk.
