These days, the only urges I have to write stem from the occasional realization that I haven't written anything in a long time.

Fear Vorbei

I used to be able to write poetry
back when I had feelings
only explicable therethrough.
Those years were full of emotion
A potion brewing of decrescendo,
musty muons, crusty quarks,
salt, ethanol, capsaicin,
red #40
unpleasant, inexplicable.

I'm older now.

Why have I not read this?
I think we all feel this way.
I began my 2011 NaNoWriMo with
"I thought that the time for poetry had gone."

We all had more to write about in that time.
So long ago.
With so much more inspiration.
