Far Away

Far away,
Under a rock
Covered with moss,
Kissed by butterflies,

There lies,
Hidden and waiting, an
Island of paradise,
Solely for me.

There are infinite universes . . . some as small as a stone if we but look. You have written what the stone said.

this is very thought-provoking
so short and so

Strangely familiar
With an air of never
Ending joy and
Ever present dreams
That keep us calm and safe in our own heads

I really like this one

night soul woman The PoetBay support member heart!
Aw so cute and lovely, thank you for a wonderful reading experience!*bookmark* How you connect the distance with a place and then a image and then movement(kissed by butterflies) and then stillness (there lies) and then the *panoramic experience of the dreamy landscape* like a postcard from your island of paradise:)*applause* well done and thank you for sharing!

short and oh so true.
Our place of safety and dreams is ours alone. No one else knows how to get there even when they are our driver.
