Blue River

Silently, through the course of this night,
Your deep blackness enraptures me
No fright and no fear as mornings life
See's my heart stutter, stop and flee.

Inside your darkness; hear my soul-
Like a child who cries when thunder roars;
This hurt will feel better inside the morn,
This day seems bright inside this storm.

TubaGiant
I really enjoyed this read.
It was very poignant and creates a mood very effectively. It creates a world and draws you in without overdoing it. It allows you to fill in the details which makes it much more universal. Again, I really enjoyed this one. Keep writing!
